The Council of Seven is interested in hearing from practitioners of magic that are well-versed in more obscure techniques and subjects. Particular value is placed on knowledge related to the use of magic with biological components.

Gurubashi Trolls Expelled From Quel'thalas!
Earlier tonight the trolls of the Gurubashi Empire currently operating in the Ghostlands were ordered to be expelled from Quel'thalas, and all items and materials collected by them seized, following a major interracial incident at the gates of Silvermoon.
The chain of events began when a single troll from the gurubashi empire was discovered outside the gates during a joint training exercise between sin'dorei and orc troops. As judgement on the troll was about to be passed and an escort back to the troll encampment arranged, reports came in of more gurubashi trolls being on their way to Silvermoon, including the emperor, Shro'gan.
The city defenses were immediately mobilized, and troops scrambled into position for the arrival of the group of trolls. Initial contact was peaceful, if tense, as the emperor laid claim on his wayward subject and apologized for the transgression, in ignorance of the fact that it just been been further exacerbated by the uninvited and unannounced arrival of himself and his escorts.
The trolls rejected to completely surrender to sin'dorei justice, a council representatives present rejected any suggestion of a compromise on the matter. As a result, the expulsion of the Gurubashi Empire from Quel'thalas and the seizure of all items and materials collected during stay was ordered.
Later in the night, the first sin'dorei forces began to move in on the gurubashi camp at Zul'Aman, but found the trolls there heavily fortified and prepared against an assault with countless wards. The commanders on the scene decided to lay siege to camp in an effort to avoid unnecessary bloodshed.
The siege is currently ongoing. The trolls are thought to able to withstand it for a least a week. No decisions have been made yet regarding how long the siege will be maintained.

Council Representative Meets With Trolls
A representative of the Council of Seven met today with the group of trolls from the Second Gurubashi Empire that is currently present in Quel'thalas, including their Emperor. The purpose of the meeting was to identify their reason for being here and lay out the conditions for their activities during their stay.
The council informs that after being pressed for answers, the trolls revealed that they are moving their Amani brethren south to Stranglethorn Vale, as well as certain materials. This was allowed under the condition that all trolls and goods enter and leave Quel'thalas through the Thalassian Pass for inspection by the garrison located there. It was furthermore made clear that the border patrols have orders to use force against any troll caught trying to enter or leave the nation elsewhere.
The council reassures that extra efforts are being made to keep the activities of the Second Gurubashi Empire under heavy supervision, and encourages all Sin'dorei to report any suspected troll activity to the authorities or the council itself.

Council Advisory Regarding Trolls
There has been reports in the past week of foreign trolls roaming the region of southern Quel'thalas near amani lands, including a gathering of trolls from the Second Gurubashi Empire. The council warns that any troll sighted should still be considered hostile without certain evidence to the contrary, regardless of their claimed affiliation. All Sin'dorei are also advised to travel in well-armed groups in the region and to file their travel plans and intentions with a council representative before going.

Sin'dorei Forces Return Victorious!
Sin'dorei forces deployed to Andorhal in the Western Plaguelands returned to Silvermoon yesterday after routing, in combination with orcish and forsaken forces, a significant Alliance assault on the ruined town.
Reports from the battle say that the Alliance had also enlisted forces of the Argent Dawn against the Horde forces present in the region, giving cause for a serious drop in relations with the purportedly-neutral organization dedicated to fighting the Scourge. Talks of withdrawing support for the Argent Dawn's crusade have already begun.

The Silvermoon Observer Launches!
It is with great pleasure that Silvermoon's recently inaugurated Council of Seven reveals the first project to be developed at its initiative, the Silvermoon Observer. Operated under the department of Culture and Knowledge, the Observer aims to deliver reliable and trustworthy news and information for all Sin'dorei, both in Quel'thalas and those traveling abroad.
News updates will be broadcast across Azeroth along the Ley-lines using the latest in developments by the Arcanists of Sunfury Spire, allowing them to be accessed and conjured into view with a simple cantrip spell from virtually anywhere!
For foreign visitors, or Sin'dorei who regrettably lack aptitude even for cantrips, hand held devices that will tap into and show the news will also be available.
